The Foreground is always a great spot for dinner. The prices are reasonable, and the food is reliably good. While our previous visits had excellent service, our waiter was a bit slow during this recent visit. However, overall, the meal was enjoyable and the atmosphere was pleasant. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Faregrounds:
During our initial visit, we encountered a rude waitress with white hair and glasses who barely checked on our table. When we asked to share a dish, she responded with a dismissive posture, rolling her eyes and throwing the plate on the table. On a subsequent visit, she refused to split a dish for us, insisting we sit at the bar. During our last visit, we waited 30 minutes to be seated, only for two people who arrive... View all feedback.
Great eating, I've never been inside to sit down and enjoy the other services they offer, but I'll be soon.
Out of towner. Was expensive for the quality of food we got. Would probably not come back next visit to nantucket.
I was visiting from it out of town and enjoyed my food. Tasted good and was cooked well. Drinks were good and a decent price. Would go back of even in the area. Will say though, for the price of the chicken finger under the apps. It a little weak in size comparatively.
One of our favorite local places on island. Good food, good drink. Reasonably priced for nantucket.
A great spot, good food, spectacular staff and service (especially in these trying times). A sort of “Cheers” atmosphere. ?
