I've been coming to Murphy's for a long time and I never took the time to stop and eat at the restaurant. I'm so glad I did because the food is delicious!. I was really impressed. I'll be back!Service: 4/5

Great Historic hotel with active and well stocked bar Our room (the JJ Astor) had balcony access and private bathroom/shower but shared bathroom for other rooms, was clean and convenient We stayed Sunday and Monday night (with NBA playoffs going in the bar) and had zero noise problems. Great central location for the rest of the Gold Country experience with lots to do, see and experience Great restaurants within walking distance and lots of near by shops and wine tasting.
