Had Fish&chips, meatball app, tangerine wheat beer and the veggie Wellington. $72. Everything was good, not great thus 4 stars)...why? What would give that last star?..1. the coating too easily flaked off the fish. 2. The portobello mushroom in the veggie Wellington was overwhelming. Would be better if it was sliced thin or diced. What User doesn't like about MURPHYS:
Waited for over 1 hour for one salad for me and 1 chicken parm for my husband..NEVER GOT! And 2 other parties..one of 4 one of 2 was served and eating when we left..given one excuse after another as to why our dinner was late..this place sucks..won't return and will not recommend AND will tell others about the **** poor service..we are now back at our hotel with no dinner..DO NOT GO HERE!!!! We stayed in the original historic part of the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and had a beautiful private bathroom. The restaurant had delicious food and great service. The saloon was fun with great food and beverage choices. The bartenders were all professional and fun. The hotel is in the middle of main street and is walking distance to numerous wine tasting rooms and restaurants. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel!
Vegan options are abysmal and pathetic. Please wake up to the times. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1
