What Patrick Bode doesn't like about Iago's Grill:
Affordable. Straight up. Everyday meals. Family friendly You can get a decent bowl of Kare-kare. Rice bowls are pedestrian. The classic Pilugaw has lost its touch. From soupy to a gooey consistency. Choose wisely. View all feedback. What Quinten Will likes about Iago's Grill:
If you don't want to drink at home then this is a good spot to get drunk. Their liempo bbq is really good. However, the last time I visited I think it wasnt marinated enough. Overall, if you wanna stay away from the noisy bars in Phase then head out here. View all feedback.

read moreLugawan Republic is a great hangout spot to enjoy a few bottles of beer with friends, thanks to their good food selections like sinigang na ulo sa miso, kilawin, grilled squid, and gambas. The restaurant offers affordable, everyday meals that are family-friendly. While some dishes like the Kare-kare and sizzling sisig are highly recommended, there have been mixed reviews on the consistency of their lugaw dishes. Despite a few incidents of foreign objects found in the food, the staff at Lugawan Republic are considerate and provide great service. Overall, it's a good spot to enjoy Filipino dishes and unwind with some drinks in a cozy setting on Aguirre Avenue.
They serve (from the resto beside) a dish called Goto Hell . highly recommended.
Sinigang na liempo chicharon bulaklak sago't gulaman fullness! pandan water is good too.
Where Red Horse is cheaper than iced tea.
Food was good, the rice not so good
