The location is great; the beer garden cozy and rustic; parking facilities Schwabing typically not available. The staff is usually attentive and friendly even if a high turnover is to be noted here. Now to the main point, the food. The menu has not changed for many years; it is ‘clear’, i.e. scarce and contains classic defensive dishes in the gros; seasonal specialities are added. The Wiener Schnitzel is just as traditionally good as the well-known and popular Kaiserschmarren. And with this I come to my criticism: Unfortunately, the quality and preparation of these two dishes is by way of example very inconstant, for example, the roasted potatoes are sometimes top, then again very greasy and partly also burned. The Kaiserschmarren is sometimes super “fuffy” and beautiful with thick pieces; On the other hand, it consists of flat omelet-like parts, also too greasy and with much too much “shot”. Unfortunately, I think there has been a certain “lapse” for a long time according to the motto “passes scho!” Here you should once again put on a consistently good and careful preparation, because in principle the food is good. Actually it would have been only 3 stars in total; I like the location and therefore well meant 4.

I highly recommend it!... read more We had a delicious dinner at the Kaisergarten. The food was excellent, the service very friendly and attentive, and the ambiance lovely. I highly recommend it! The regional dishes are all very reasonably priced for what you get. We had the onion roast beef with cheese spaetzle as a side dish. The Badies made the cheese spaetzle particularly creamy!!
