However, the service is unfortunate... read more The Alte Wirt is one of our most frequented restaurants. The atmosphere is great, the food is good, and the prices are fair. However, the service is unfortunately slow and inattentive. I also find it a shame that we, as regulars, aren't recognized. Nevertheless, the Alte Wirt will remain our regular haunt.

Unfortunately, it feels like my first visit every time: there's no recogn... read more I've been going to the Alte Wirt regularly for 13 years, at least three times a month. Unfortunately, it feels like my first visit every time: there's no recognition whatsoever, no friendly, personal word. Since many of the staff have been working there for years, this can hardly be due to staff turnover. Over the years, the service has deteriorated significantly in my opinion. You often have to wait a long time to be served, and genuine friendliness is sadly rare. Nevertheless, I still enjoy coming for the food, which remains very good.
