What Luboš Jež dislikes about Alte Heide:
Wanted to try some local food with my family, when we stayed overnight in Munich. When we came to the restaurant, we were told we can 't eat inside (no reason given why) and can only stay outside in the 'biergarten '. But to stay outside reservation was needed! So we were basically told to go somewhere else. I didn 't expect that, to be honest. View all feedback.

This is a neighboring restaurant, very secretly, only native and the random flight crew, us! no frills, but the best carving I have ever eaten in Germany!

The place was not crowded when I came. the waitress was very friendly and smiled. we asked for an English menu and she gave us one. but the meal in the English menu was different from the German menu. twice we tried to order food from the English menu and it is always not available. we have just chosen something from the German menu (drumbs and sharp sausage). the food we ordered tastes good and very well paired with the white beer.
