The atmosphere is cozy, resembling a small pub with booths for added comfort. However, the bar area can get a bit noisy at times. The menu offers a great variety, ranging from burgers to more substantial entrees. I will definitely be returning!

I really wanted a beer and some d... read more I was in NY for work and found myself in Haverstraw at the end of a long day and needing to return to my hotel in Long Island. I really wanted a beer and some dinner before heading back. I got on Yelp! and found a spot I wanted to try. I 'm a sucker for Irish pubs and wasn 't disappointed. I came in with a coworker around 5 PM and we sat at the bar, ordered a local beer off the tap and put in order for some fish and chips. I was pleased with the service we received. It was what I expected for a local spot like this. By like this I mean that small spot on the end of a strip mall. It 'd be easy to miss this if you weren 't really looking for it. I also enjoyed overhearing some of the chatter from some locals who were seated together at the other end of the bar. I like finding those spots that have regulars! I gotta say, the fish and chips though were on point! At least for me. I live in Oklahoma, we 're not exactly known for our fish and chips. This to me though was what I wanted and was glad to have it, again, with a local beer on tap! Overall I had a nice experience and was happy with what I had for my trip back through NYC and onto LI. I 'm glad I popped in here! Enjoy!
