Do not hesitate to press the door of le gallion as they are rewarded with a warm welcome and very good Portuguese eating. the dining room is cozy and relaxing.... read more Do not hesitate to press the door of le gallion as they are rewarded with a warm welcome and very good Portuguese eating. the dining room is cozy and relaxing. cuts up to the renter pairs that provide a smiling and efficient service. good. many guests were Portuguese. asa starter I had the “Salade Gallion” mixed salad with cheese and speck: good and generous. the main course was really a highlight: I chose the gallion style of cadjau, boiled with wobble and olives and served with souffléed kartoffeln. it was excellent, but the part was gargantuesque! I could have just skipped the starter. as dessert, I pampered with a tasteful mango and earthly mousse. prices remain on standard Swiss standard. Given the very good food and service, this is an excellent value for money.

We had various fish dishes which were all good, but I really would be tempted by the Bacalhau next time. You need to like olive oil – which I do – and not to expect...there not to be any bones – 'cos there are. But it looked delicious and the portion was generous.
