We decided to dine at The Highlander on the final night of our vacation and made a reservation the night before. The same waitress who took our reservation warmly greeted us when we arrived. Our table was prepared and we received excellent service throughout our meal. It was refreshing to be taken care of by a staff member with a lot of personality. The menu was thoughtfully curated and the portion sizes were just right. Our experience at The Highlander was incredibly positive and memorable in every way. We would definitely dine there again. Great job!
I had one of the best meals in Scotland at this pub. The steak and ale pie was superb. I only wish I had stayed longer to try more of their amazing whisky selection.
The place is so so friendly and a paradise for whisky lovers. Very nice owner and the staff around him are brill. They make you feel at ease. Good steak pie and fair prices. If you about i would strongly advice!
Make sure to try the whisky flights at this restaurant! They have a carefully chosen selection of rare and unique bottles that are perfect for both novices and seasoned whisky drinkers. The service is excellent, and the snacks and pub food are delicious. Be sure to make reservations ahead of time, as this place gets busy very quickly.
