Not complai... read more Had the $9.90 large serve of calamari, no chips. Waited in a long queue to order for about 20mins then waited about 20mins for my order to be ready. Not complaining about this as the place was heaving at lunchtime on very warm, sunny Sunday in mid August. Worth waiting for as the calamari was so fresh and naturally soft and buttery in texture. Not rings but thick pieces of rings. Fine by me. A crumbed coating but not overdone. I'm a good eater and had just come back from a 4.5 hour swimming with whales trip so was very hungry. The large serve was almost too much for even me! Almost. ;)

While I waited I watched the lady cooking picking her nose and handling the food and when my snapper came out it was cold and tiny. Not happy at all with the service and food I received. Is that how u treat the locals????

We added scallops, chips and seafood sticks which were also delicious. You are able to sit at tables under the restaurant's awning, eat upstairs on the roof or go across the road to the park adjacent to the beach. Nice meal, good location, would definately return! Licenced and open Sunday nights. Plenty of parking in the area however we walked from main street. Fair walk but easy flat.

After waiting for 45 minutes, my partner asked if our order was ready and was met with rudeness from the British server. The chips were also of poor quality. This unfortunate experience ruined a special birthday celebration for us. We will not be dining at this restaurant again.

The last few times I have ordered fish and chi... read more I have been a regular customer at this restaurant for years and have never experienced any issues until recently. The last few times I have ordered fish and chips to go, I have had to wait 45 minutes each time. Despite giving it another chance today and being told it would only take 20 minutes, it actually took an hour and a half to receive my calamari and chips. This experience was frustrating and unacceptable. I will not be returning to this restaurant in the future.
