No entree and no desserts and th... read more The food and service was very good. Our party of three had the barramundi, the curry and fish of the day plus a bottle of wine. No entree and no desserts and the bill equated to $70 per head which, in my humble opinion, is...a bit exxy for a touristy fish restaurant. I’ll still give the place 5 stars though as the quality of the food and the efficiency of the service was, as I’ve indicated, very good.

Although the place was packed, our meals arrived in a timely manner and the staff were efficient, friendly and very accommodating. I would recommend to go if you are in the locale.

The mussels were a simple di... read more Fish was recommended to us by the hotel we are staying at and certainly did not disappoint. Ambience is lovely staff is attentive . The mussels were a simple dish in a simple tomato sauce , fresh and delicious. My partner had the risotto, which i tasted and that was excellent. I had the signature dish, the snapper and to be honest probably the best snapper dish I have ever had . What I didn’t understand was the M/P price on the menu. I can understand M/P if it was lobster or caviar, but its snapper , how much could the price fluctuate by $2? Perhaps M/P is to do with labour costs on the night. So, is a fancy snapper, no matter how delicious worth $83 ? You be the judge.
