I recommend getting a drink with your meal at this restaurant. I was not a fan of the service, but the takeout option was available for dinner. The price per person is between $10 and $20. We love the Kentucky Fried but on Sunday 8-20-23 I bought the 12 piece original meal and it was horrible! My cashier should have thrown it away. It was so greasy, skin falling, looked like they dropped it before putting into bucket. She told recommended the Krispy to the next person. I asked about mine and she said it was fine. Picked out best pieces. I live in Petersburg, about 15 20 minutes away and wasn't going back. I will never go to the South Dixie location again. Very bad chicken.
Ordered 2 chicken sandwiches, even after the girl checked with a co-worker about having the chicken for the sandwich. After paying for them both and waiting about 8-10 minutes, they informed us that they only had chicken for one of the sandwiches. They subbed the normal chicken for 2 small thin strips and was about 1/2 the chicken that normally comes on the sandwich. The total wait time was about 15 to 20 minutes for 2 sandwiches and fry. This location needs to step it up a little bit.
The food was terrible. I stopped by the restaurant at 7pm on Tuesday and ordered a 2-piece white meat meal. I live just 3 blocks away and when I got home and opened the box, the chicken fell apart easily. I regret spending my last dime on that meal.
The restaurant was fantastic! The staff were friendly, the food was delicious and served promptly. However, had a terrible experience at the location on Telegraph.
