I watched her go out of her way and go the extra step to do her job well. If I had a business I would have recruited her right there.The food isn't great; but we had an appetite for some fried seafood so we tried it. I hadn't been to a captain D's in 30 years and I will likely not be back for another 30years. The bathrooms were terrible, like the bathrooms at a truck stop in 1974 terrible. I wanted to leave my shoes in the trunk of the car kind of terrible. All in all, I got my fried food fix, I was disappointed in the food but glad to see some great customer service in a world that has forgot how it works.

The service was quite slow, even thou... read more I visited this restaurant on May 25, 2022. The sanitation grade is the reason for the two-star rating, which is around 98. The service was quite slow, even though I ordered just two items. When my meal arrived, I noticed that I was served some cold, older fish mixed with fresh, hot fish. The slaw was also unappetizing. Overall, this experience was quite disappointing. I believe you can do better than this.

Every time I've eaten here (which is often), the food has been hot and freshly made, just as it should be for seafood fast food. There was one night when the wait was extremely long—almost 30 minutes. That was definitely the worst experience I've had, but I'm willing to attribute it to short staffing, hopefully.
