OMG it was like breaking... read more 1st time dining there, past this place a hundred times in my life living in SC coming to Monroe, decided to give it a try fr breakfast. OMG it was like breaking w a movie,lol the staff was awesome and we set at the bar with a great view of the kitchen, those peps know there job and do it well, all this is going on while the Price is Right was played on TV. Talk about a 70s throw down. We don't have places like this in our home town. The food was great best pancakes I've ate since my grandmother was alive...... We will be coming back to the Palace to eat again. Keep it up guys!

The rice was luke warm, the onion rings were cold, the broccoli casserole was decent. However, very disappointed in the cornbread! It was very cold and extremely dry with no taste, it was not sweet at all. Also, it had a rubbery texture as if it was old or rewarmed in a microwave. The staff is incredibly friendly.
