Carlos and his partner are great hos... read more Just back from a fabulous week long stay in this stunning hotel. We were a group of 3 couples and cannot honestly fault it. Carlos and his partner are great hosts. The rooms are stylish, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The communal areas of the hotel are beautiful and characterful. The views are picturesque and the area easy to get around by car or bus. Breakfast was a treat with a different home made pastry each day and tostadas with ham cheese juice and coffee. Thank you Carlos we look forward to visiting you again soon!

Tucked down a sing... read more Mamabels Hotel is a gorgeous gem that has both a distinguished legacy and modernity that sets it as NO.1 choice for the discerning traveller. Tucked down a single set of steep steps the Aladdin 's cave of individual bedrooms and suites caters on every level from the indulgence of 'royalty ' to the lightest of sleepers. The owners/hosts are attentive, keen to please, accommodating and very hard working to make ones stay pleasant, comfortable and unique!! Telephone ahead and reserve directly with The Owner, and in our case he met us at the top of the steps offering to carry out cases! What a gentleman. Fantastic stay, out of season, relaxed and flexible about breakfast/booking out/payment style etc etc Highly Recommended

Bre... read more The Hotel is quirky in a most wonderful way retaining a Moorish feel. The rooms were spotlessly clean with crisp linen and towels and very comfortable beds. Breakfast each morning was a delight with freshly squeezed orange juice and a variety of home made pastries, cakes, pancakes, fresh fruit and yogurt in addition to the usual bread, meats and cheese. The owner, Carlos, was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Our room had a lovely large balcony with a wonderful view of the coast and the mountains. The main Plaza with lots of Bars and Restaurants was only minutes walk away while the Playa is easily accessed by Bus or Car. Overall a wonderful experience.

Mamabels should be accoladed as one of the most special places to stay firstly, the location superb mountain and sea views then the rooms all indiviaually decor... read more Mamabels should be accoladed as one of the most special places to stay firstly, the location superb mountain and sea views then the rooms all indiviaually decorated and tastefully furnished with antique furniture and original paintings all of course enjoying superb views. Our room had a terrace which was a wonderful place to sit and and chill. Breakfast is served on the terrace and is simply magical! Superb fresh bakery produce, wonderful coffee and freshly squessed juices we even had freshly squeezed melon with grape! The best part of Mamabels however are the family themselves Mamabel is a wonderful character and a superb cook!! Carlos, her son, is very friendly and informative of the area and his wife, Mar who greets us at Breakfast is equally friendly we alsmost felt part of the family. If you want superb service, wonderful food in a wonderful environment, Mamabels is the placve to go a very special place!!!
