Not easy to park, lots of steps. Not suitable for elderly or infirm but lovely host and great breakfast.
Myself and my wife stayed here for just one night travelling through to Alicante, Mamabels is a gem of place from the fabulous welcome by Jenny, to her great service at an terrace with the most wonderful view of the Playa. Mama herself is a charming woman and makes simple some the best rustic food I have eaten in Spain. Her paella is wonderful, the best I have ever eaten. I have a good Spanish friend who makes outstanding paella, but Mama beat hers! The homemade onion tart and pate were fab starters too. The hotel room was just great too, with anitique furnishings and art pieces, and a terrace to sit and drink a pre dinner Fino. We will be back (thanks Jenny!!
The Hotel is quirky in a most wonderful way retaining a Moorish feel. The rooms were spotlessly clean with crisp linen and towels and very comfortable beds. Breakfast each morning was a delight with freshly squeezed orange juice and a variety of home made pastries, cakes, pancakes, fresh fruit and yogurt in addition to the usual bread, meats and cheese. The owner, Carlos, was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Our room had a lovely large balcony with a wonderful view of the coast and the mountains. The main Plaza with lots of Bars and Restaurants was only minutes walk away while the Playa is easily accessed by Bus or Car. Overall a wonderful experience.

Just back from a fabulous week long stay in this stunning hotel. We were a group of 3 couples and cannot honestly fault it. Carlos and his partner are great hosts. The rooms are stylish, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The communal areas of the hotel are beautiful and characterful. The views are picturesque and the area easy to get around by car or bus. Breakfast was a treat with a different home made pastry each day and tostadas with ham cheese juice and coffee. Thank you Carlos we look forward to visiting you again soon!

We have had a fabulous stay; the location of the hotel is ideal, absolute tranquility and privileged views; the great attention and very attentive to the details. We have been very a drop and carlos has been a perfect host that recommends the best routes to discover the coast. highly recommended!
Perfect location very close to the center. carlos treated us terribly at all times, which made us very comfortable in our stay. the views of the mountains, the sea and the village from the terrace of the room, impressive. I'll repeat it in case I get wet again.
The room, large, for everyone in general, the deal, the breakfasts, large, large room, large and with a terrace overlooking the sea and the beautiful sunrises. very quiet area at the top of the village. We were five days early in November and we were short.
A charming two-star hotel. spectacular views, very careful details, very personalized attention. super recommended
