This hotel is rated with four stars, we can not think why! the room we had was about 400 meters from the reception on an unfinished road, we were taken there on a golf buggy and then said that we didn't get our car closer to the...room we were brought back from the hotel to a stretch that was closed with a barrier halfway down for entering! we removed the barrier and finally parked on rough grass near our room. we were traveled by paris and were very tired, but you said we couldn't eat in the hotel and would have to drive to pont aven another 15 minutes. then the toilet and the bathroom blocked in our room and another had to be found, but would not be available until late afternoon so that we stayed without bathroom facilities, unless we used the at the reception or the swimming pool further 25yards on a rough stretch. there was no apologies or compensation for our inconvenience. the facilities in the swimming pool were very simple and grubby, there was only a communal dressing room and no bathrooms were provided. the hire is nice, but the service and the accusation do not fit. two more couples who were unsatisfied with the accusation remained while we were there. we do not recommend this hotel especially if they are older or disabled.
We went on this place as a family on a beautiful warm juni evening. the location is absolutely beautiful in the small parc with a beautiful pond between the buildings. the main building and restaurant was an old mill and they have many. the orignals dinge received from him. they have a great children's menu for children under 12 years. in France we had rarely seen something like this and it was very good for the children. each of us had another menu, one concentrated on meat and foie grass, while the other concentrated on lobster and seafood. the dishes were all very delicious and served very beautifully presented. the service was good, but not perfect. many smaller details have been missing and could explain why they don't have Michael Star. but at least the price was more reasonable:
