Mainstreet Family Restaurant

This restaurant is probably our 'goto' restaurant when visiting Merrickville. It must be good, as we noticed the same local gentleman from a year ago, sitting in the same corner. My wife and I both had the steak for dinner, followed by rice pudding with a shot of Kalua, on our waitress' recommendation. All was terrific.

Many a memory here, great food shared with good friends, breakfast, lunches over many years, cozy, local and place to always get a good meal at.

In a nutshell: Service great - Food, not so great! In fact, a long, long way from great Think miles.__Hmmm

The locals recommended this place. Not fancy. But who needs fancy when they food is so good. The breakfast was delish. Later we tried their pizza... It was fabulous. Merrickville is a charming town. Well worth the stop.

We were in Merrickville for a family wedding.The Mainstreet Family Restaurant was recommended to us. We were able to make reservations due to the size of our party. The meals were great and economical. They have a full service bar.The service was excellent. Amy and the rest of the servers were great. It is worth the wait. I recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in Merrickville and the surrounding area.
