Auld Shebeen Moate

This was our second visit to the restaurant, this time with two extra family members. Once again, the fillet steaks cooked on hot rocks and my prawn stir fry were exceptional. The pepper sauce with the steaks had an excellent flavor. The dishes were served quickly after we arrived. It was great to see that this Gastro pub continues to uphold its high standard of service, including ongoing COVID-19 safety measures. The restaurant is doing well and should be praised for its success.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Mary and Nicole were incredibly friendly and polite. The service was prompt and the food was delicious.

Hello everyone, it's me, Big Man Dizz, and the main culprit, Big Shack Evans. Let me tell you something, hey! We strolled into the restaurant around 7 o'clock, 5 hours before midnight. First, I had a main dish that I absolutely devoured. And don't even get me started on the dessert, it was phenomenal. I would highly recommend this place - it's a 10 out of 10. A big shoutout to Shauna, the top chef, Evans. The staff were fantastic and overall, we had a great experience. We will definitely be back again. Thank you all!

Just had a fabulous meal here. Waiting staff were excellent. Food was unbelievable. Very reasonable priced for high quality food. My wife celebrated her birthday, she received a complementary cake. Would highly recommend it. Also loved the surround music. Wish them all the best on their Italian nights.

I really didn't expect to find a gem like this in the town, but I'm super glad I did! The service is great, polite, and helpful. The decor is lovely. The food is absolutely fantastic, it's fairly priced, and the portions are generous. There are plenty of great cocktails to choose from and they complement the meals very well. I'll certainly come back here next time I'm in town, this really is a gem.
