I visited The Auld Shebeen for the first time over ten years ago. Reading recent reviews on TripAdvisor, I discovered it has changed ownership since my last visit. What a fantastic surprise! Dermot and Mary did an excellent job managing a bustling lunch service, and I truly admire their hard work. We enjoyed the Fish and Chips and the Steak Sandwich from the menu, both bursting with flavor and far exceeded my expecta... View all feedback.

Food is hit and miss...could be lovely 1 day and terrible the next....as for the staff I would be giving 1 or 2 of them the boot..haven't a clue how to deal with customers along with insulting them...such a pity because it has great potential View all feedback.
We stopped by again with two adults and three hungry young boys, and we couldn't be happier with our visit. Mary is truly a professional; she takes great care of her customers. Our food was fantastic, and all three kids left feeling full and happy. They made sure to accommodate everything they asked for without any issues. Great job, everyone! I'm certain we will return.

Family dinner great gathering special occasion. been here several times lovely food, inexpensive and great staff. next time we are home visiting will be back. gorgeous
