I had a delightful dinner experience at this restaurant. The food was exceptional, earning a perfect score of 5. The service was also outstanding, with attentive and friendly staff, which deserves another 5. The atmosphere was welcoming and enjoyable, creating a great environment for dining. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations!.

The food is good, but they don't give you a decent amount of meat. I ordered chicken and steak nachos, and they only provided a small portion of steak, with a lot of cheese and chips. I feel like I didn’t get my money's worth. This is the second time I've encountered this problem. The food at this restaurant was great and worth the wait, although the time we went without a waiter/waitress to take our drink orders and give us chips was a little longer than expected. Other than that the staff was polite and, the environment was great. I would say that it is the best Mexican restaurant in the area.

I'm from Texas and I'm visiting, this place is incredible! Just wow everything was so good and the salsa is not spicy, and just a heads up the cheese dip with meat is white cheese with chorizo- totally different but really good. Very very happy. Good prices and service. And the tables and chairs are beautiful. Definitely a go to place!
We always go to this location for lunch during our break from work. They always have our food ready for us when we arrive which is super convenient! Staff is always great and food is tasty.
The rude and inexperienced is what represents el compadre when you walk in the door! Get rid of that and you may have a restaurant, but then the food sure isn't anything to brag about, tasteless and soggy just like the service!! Sad

I love the food; we usually order out, but on the rare occasions we have dined in, the experience has always been pleasant. One of the very few good places to eat in Mitchell. ?
This restaurant is a must-visit! I absolutely love the food, the staff, and the ambiance. Daniel was extremely attentive, and the chef even came over to greet us and inquire about our meal. Overall, it's a fantastic dining experience. Parking is easy with ample open spaces available.
Fast and good.
Love going here for our family events, parties of 10.. service always top notch! Kid-friendliness: They really take great care of the kids

As for parking, while the lot is spacious, it is shared with another business, but I believe the quality of the food makes it worth the extra effort to find a spot. It can get busy at times. For my dining experience, I was there for lunch, and the cost per person falls between $30 and $50. I rated the food, service, and atmosphere all 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Jalapeno Poppers, Seafood Sampler, Sampler Platter, Tacos, Chicken Enchiladas, Cheese Dip, Fries, Salsa, Chips, and Burritos. There’s plenty of free parking available.
