What Shan C doesn't like about Plate — Brookside:
Very disappointing meal at Plate including; inattentive service, long wait times between courses, and cold entrées. In our *two hours* at the restaurant, my husband and I only had our bar order taken once and our server never checked back after our entrées were delivered (not by him) to see how our food was. Visited twice this summer already and will certainly be back- but probably on a week night. The first visit was a Wednesday evening and the service, food, and drinks were excellent. Visited on a Saturday evening and arrived early to have a drink at the bar. They had happy hour options from 2-5p which was a pleasant surprise. The signature cocktails were refreshing and inventive.
