This restaurant in a small town came highly recommended to us. The coffee was just average, not up to our usual standards. The food was good, but we were disappointed that there were no traditional menus, only whiteboards listing the options without prices. We ordered simple breakfasts for three people, but were surprised when our total bill came to $38 before tip. We received a receipt with only the total listed. It was apparent that we were the only customers most of the time we were there. In my opinion, if you live in Jefferson City like I do, it's better to save gas and stay in the city where there are better dining options with menus and prices that won't surprise you. The service was decent, the food was rated a 4, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 3.
