Freddy's Kitchen
Description
Freddy's Kitchen offers delicious West Indian cuisine, with standout dishes like jerk chicken and curry goat. Some guests found the jerk chicken mild, but overall the food was fresh and flavorful. The lunch specials are a good value with large portions. The seafood soup was unique and tasty. The oxtail and drinks are also recommended. Although there were some complaints about salty chicken and bland gravy from other diners, Freddy's Kitchen remains a popular spot for authentic Caribbean dishes. The ambiance may be a bit chaotic at times, but the friendly staff and enticing aromas make it a worthwhile dining experience.

I go to Fred's several times a week to buy their soup. Soup options change daily between chicken, beef, seafood, chicken foot and goat soup. It's fresh and has flavor. The $5 price sweets me the most!
3rd time there for the most important meal of a Jamaican spot chicken, rice peas) and after giving them the chance for the THIRD TIME……The chicken has always been SALTY.. sorry to post this but I’ve been disappointed for the 3rd time after spending my money here…Not to mention the fact that I saw they put the same amount of steamed veggies and rice in the medium or large size....
I always come here for the drinks and the oxtail it’s amazing. Try to get it before close and during lunch or when it’s fresh it’s amazing.Place is always clean.
The j chicken came with vegetables and rice and beans. The rice had a nice coconut flavour. Seafood soup was really interesting like a nice healthy homemade broth-soup with bits of shrimp shell and such that you can fish out once you finish the second half at home. Good value.
