This place looks all that amazingly Desi. I was craving for some Desi food and my taste buds for the Desi food made me went there all the way from Scarborough. Though it was a long commute but it was all worth it. Because the vibe and taste as well as the overall setup was perfectly Desi. I could see the same kind of steel parat having the food. What Andrea D doesn't like about Silver Spoon:
Went specifically for Pacoras and chicken Samosas ! Pacoras are ADVERTISED ON BOARD , I WAS TOLD THEY ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE ! TAKE THEM OF THE MENUE !!! TAKE THEM OF THE BOARD !! !! Chicken Samosas were mediocre ! NOT THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD View all feedback.
We usually order biryani and had a good experience. But today ordered Sindhi biryani lahori fish and wr very disappointed. Thanks for giving alot of rice but they wr mushy and sticked together. There ws only one chicken pc in 1 box and two half sized legs in the 2nd..havn't opened 3rd box yet. We didnt like the taste of it, sorry but it ws only a lot of red chillies.Disappointed to spend 50 bucks on that quality of food.

But overall the food was amazing.
We have been going to silver spoon for a while. Their food is good but recently they introduced Falooda for only $3.99. It’s amazing! We love the sweetness level, taste and the price. The other night we got Faloodas and the the owner gave us a few free samosas as it was the end of the day. It was nice!
One of the better places for Indian cuisine. Prices are decent, not overly expensive. Also for the price, the food quantity is pretty good. But as is common with a few other Indian places they don’t accept credit cards. Did have to wait for the chicken lollipops, partly because they were being made and partly because they completely forgot about it. I had to remind the staff about it before I was handed my order. They only accept cash or debit. And in today’s day and age it’s a bit of an inconvenience as I found out the hard way. The people serving the food are cool but the guy behind the counter could serve with a smile. Hence no more than 3 stars for this place.
Not sure what's with the consistency. Once you get a good boroyani, next week it will be half filled or will not have adequate pieces of chicken. Same with the beef kebabs. Once we got a good flavoured one. Next time the kebabs seems to be mixed with too much of Atta/flour, lacks flavour and cook on it. Really what's with the consistency! Its on luck I guess!!!!!!! disappointment. Prefer the Brampton one honestly.
