Contribute FeedbackUdupi Madras Hotel is a restaurant in Canada serving South Indian vegetarian cuisine. Despite a beautiful ambience and delicious dishes, the restaurant has received mixed reviews. Some customers have complained about the slow service, rude staff, and mediocre food quality. Issues with orders, plastic pieces in food, and unaccounted fare differences have left a bad impression on patrons. On the other hand, loyal customers appreciate the authentic taste and generous portion sizes offered at Udupi Madras Hotel. Overall, the restaurant seems to have potential but requires improvements in terms of customer service and quality control.
I had order Set Dosa and it’s one of best ever I got in North America. I like Udupi because of they gives very good flavoured Sambhar and truly Udupi taste. I must say price also very reasonable and very good. They also have free parking under ground for customer. Don’t wait for it if you love South Indian vegetarian food.
Excellent Menu and equally good service. The ambience is good. people are courteous. An excellent place for south indian food.
The outlet looks nice, the food is ok considering Indian food in Canada but the staff’s behaviour is very bad and rude, forget about smiling and greeting. They are very rigid about timings. I had a couple of meals there but the last time I went I did not get my order after sitting for almost an hour whereas the people who came after me got served. I complained and left with a not so sorry attitude by the staff. Not going there again for sure
Was looking for authentic South Indian fare in Mississauga and found this gem Udupi Madras Cafe right close to my hotel. Completely authentic in South Indian flavour, they also have some innovative stuff like Hakka Dakshin style, which is a Indo Chinese fusion, Manchurian Madurai being an example. They also serve a cross between a pizza and an Uthapam. They also serve North Indian chats. They have both indoor and patio dining, as well as takeouts. Highly recommended if you are missing South Indian food in Mississauga
Good selection of dosa that are thin and crispy- good value for the money and taste that is authenic and centrally located in Mississauga with free parking next to Square One.
