Fire Pit - Mississauga
Fire Pit
Description
Fire-Pit, a beloved local spot in Mississauga, has unfortunately taken a downfall according to many regular patrons. Complaints ranged from dry, tasteless food to stale fries and unimpressive chicken strips. However, there were still bright spots amidst the negativity, such as the delicious chicken souvlaki and gyro dishes. The affordability and quick service were appreciated by some customers. Overall, while there were mixed reviews, Fire-Pit remains a popular spot with loyal customers who value the establishment's long-standing reputation for great food and service.

This actually made me sad to see. I grew up LOVING Fire Pit. This was not the place I remembered. There's so much tape holding together the furniture that it should've been a sign for us to turn around....but we ordered anyway. The gravy was disgusting, the bun on my son's hotdog was rock hard, my burger on a Kaiser came without a Kaiser, and the fries were so burnt they were inedible. It truly pains me to say this was the worst meal I've had in years. Definitely our final visit. :
Came here for some fish chips, the service was fairly quick. The fish wasn’t bad but the fries were quite stale. I have never had fries that stale served to me ever.
I tried the sovlaki and salad. It was awesome and yummy. Good portion, worth for the money. The service was also really good, will be in my prior list.
The fries and onion rings are delicious, the gravy is full of flavor and not diluted. The homemade burgers are fantastic. But my absolute favorite dish is the gyro on a pita topped with feta cheese. I have tried gyros at numerous other restaurants, including many with "Greek" in their name, and in my opinion, none of them can compare to the gyro at the Fire Pit.
