Zelo - Minneapolis
Zelo
Description
Zelo restaurant offers a sophisticated and elegant atmosphere for a good dining experience. The food, although lacking in some flavor, is highlighted by delicious Brussels sprouts. The bar is excellent, with great pre-dinner drinks and friendly service. However, some diners experienced rushed service and mediocre food quality during dinner. Despite this, Zelo has received positive reviews for its consistently good food and excellent service from knowledgeable servers. Overall, Zelo provides a nice dining option in downtown MPLS, with standout dishes like amazing pork chops and a safe dining experience post-pandemic.

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Food is delicious, service is top notch, atmosphere is also great. Love the gluten free menu. Portions are big for main dishes. We took leftovers home and on the next day it tasted as good. Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Incredible dinner--bread service so hot and freshly baked it should have spoiled our appetites, but everything we ordered was perfection: scallops with prosciutto and perfectly dressed wilted greens; chicken and mushroom risotto; housemade ravioli; caramelized Brussels sprouts; and the evening's halibut special were all perfection. Our servers were all so kind and attentive and accommodating. Just what we needed to end a long day--good food, good company and good conversation--can't wait to return. Went twice. First on a Thursday night with a reservation, and I was seated inside. Jennifer waited on me and she was fabulous! The in house bread and cream was tantalizing, and I then had the spaghetti and meatballs followed by tiramisu. Service was quickand regular was offered good amount of cheese. On Friday evening, came back without a reservation, and had to be seatedoutside in windy conditions. This time, I had the classic lasagna and budino. Service wasn't as great, and no free bread wasoffered. Overall, both times, the quality of food was excellent though.
Food is awesome and the service is outstanding. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100
The food was great, a very nice warm and welcoming environment, service was good and prices were decent but could be seen as a little spendy for some. I got the the lamb crostini which was delicious! I 100% recommend it. It's a small dish but filling, ifyour not looking to indulge. The lamb was tender and full of flavor with goat cheese and a nice light vinaigrette drizzle alltopped on a perfectly thin crusted piece of bread. A chicken linguine very good. And a delicious strawberry shortcake, lightand fluffy.
