Great New Restaurant and Watering Hole. This place is great! My wife and I went one of the first nights they were open, and it is a welcome addition to the Seven Corners area. It's not a place to swill 3.2 beer and grease out, but if you want that, you can go to the Corner Bar. View all feedback.
What Mallie Mann doesn't like about Republic - Seven Corners:
Being a vege/pescatarian, it was a welcome surprise to have a few food options at a beer place. The seating was cramped (the person sitting behind me and I were fighting for space), but the service was friendly and fast. Its close to the Southern Theater, so its a good option pre-show. The seats fill fast; good thing reservations are easy. View all feedback.
Great food and service. if you haven't been there, try it.
Drinks and beer list were good, food was very mediocre. Decent ambiance.
Both the fish and shrimp tacos we're wonderful, as was the homemade ketchup and aoli for the fries.
Had a reservation, however there was some confusion regarding that and we waited 10 minutes while they found us a table.
Great bar-restaurant in West Bank area of U of Minnesota campus. Outdoor dining in good weather very nice; trees provide nice shade in the outdoor dining area for summer dining.
