O'Donovan's Irish Pub - Minneapolis

Stopped in before a show at First Ave very good service and the food was good and plentiful. Nice place

We were there at 5:30pm on a weekday before a baseball game, and were extremely disappointed there was only an event menu available for food. We chose this restaurant based on outdoor patio seating and the menu items we saw online, to find the items we wanted were unavailable to order, they had an event menu for the evening, which was VERY limited. The service on the patio was extremely slow, at least 10 minutes from when we arrived until we were waited on, and the same from when we ordered a beer to when we received it. We ordered fish chips corned beef sandwich, both were very good, a little pricy for the portion size.

Service atmosphere were great. Food was ok. Guinness didn’t taste fresh to me.

Wonderful Irish pub! Very good staff, terrific food an abundance of alcohol. Sidewalk dining is a treat and the location amid entertainment venues can't be beat.

The most horrible experience I have ever had! We made reservations several weeks ago and confirmed the reservation again yesterday. We arrived there today and couldn’t even find a waitress who would talk with us. It was extremely loud, hot, dirty and super drunk people everywhere. The waitress we finally got ahold of said we they cancelled all reservations yesterday and called everyone. This was a complete lie! We were able to talk to a manager after about 15 minutes and she said they don’t have any open seat and gave us a disgusting look. She had a very condescending tone and was belligerent. I am going to contact the owner and inform him of how horrible it was! We drove over 70 mile to get there! Don’t ever go to this dump!
