What User doesn't like about Insomnia Cookies:
It's a Monday night at 11:00. They were made of several products that I would understand as it is the end of the night, but this is a shop that also advertises in its name that they treat a late night. That was my first time here. I didn't get what I wanted since they got out. They gave me the wrong order (which was rock hard) so I had given it to me something else and that was also hard like a rock not much of a lea... View all feedback.
Great cookies. Would love to give them a 5. I'm not sure if it has to do with eggs being pricey. The last two times I've gone have been 0 stars if I could. The first time was told no one else was working, and it would be a half-hour wait. Which I understood. Though went into day after driving 30mins for some sweets. Getting there , I was told my order was canceled altogether cause they didn't have the cookies. Like what? How is that okay? At the moment, I can't recommend it. You walk in and are greeted with 6 signs saying what they're out of. So what do they actually sell now? Ice cream? Who knows. In the end, go somewhere else.
Their cookies are BOMB! Freshly baked cookies with lots of varieties to choose from, their vegan selection is just as great as the dairy/gluten products, and their customer service is super cool.
Open late night, major plus! It's located in dinkytown, so not the easiest to find parking for but totally worth the walk. The cookies themselves are delicious, big and not skimpy. I've always gotten my cookies HOT, so this would go great with some cold milk. Only reason why I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because the cookies are so sweet they've made my head hurt as I can't tolerate things that are too sweet. Definitely have water or milk with you when you decide to eat one. They are delicious.
First order delivery on campus was 45 minutes late. We were told they were late getting to work and needed time to bake the cookies. Tried to place another order for Downtown Minneapolis. Website repeatedly said store was closed and wouldn't take the order. Called store, waited on hold. Person answering noted that downtown Minneapolis was outside of 1 mile ?!? delivery range. No other options mentioned. The person clearly was happy not to have to take, schedule, and make an order. Terrible customer service.
