I had the scallops which were quite good but the snapper was over dressed, the octopus starter was a little too charred and the wine was mediocre at best. It was also freezing and the lights were too bright where we were seated. Not impressed but wanted to like it

One week prior to dinner, restaurant called to ask if we would sit a... read more Food was great, service was very good, and hospitality was poor. Had reservation for weeks. One week prior to dinner, restaurant called to ask if we would sit at the bar or arrive hours later. Responded politely that we would find a neighboring restaurant, and that I understand last minute corporate bookings. Bells response was, no problem, we have a space for you. Unfortunately, I did not book a plan B we were placed next to the front door, on Dec with no door control. Further insult: there were other booths open away from the door. Moral: don't book with Bells early
