What Luella Hand doesn't like about Zak's Cafe:
eating was pretty good, but they shocked us at the end of the meal by telling us they wouldn't take credit cards since we had a table of six. this may have been good in the 90s, but this practice is no longer acceptable. next time will take a little more. read moreZak's in the 2nd Street market area is a pleasant surprise with dependable service and a fresh menu. While the staff may seem inattentive at times, the great breakfast and interior make it a recommended spot. However, some customers were underwhelmed by the fish fry and felt the service was lacking. Despite these issues, the food is still worth repeat visits for many diners. Just be sure to make a reservation due to the narrow, loud space.
