What paulsbunioncream doesn't like about Flint Owl Bakery:
Premises not a bakery to my knowledge, just a shop for selling items made elsewhere, bread is much nicer than say, supermarket bread but not as nice as the offerings from the likes of Cyrnel Tablehurst or Sussex Kitchen, which are available in nearby Forest Row, made from superior ingredients and the bread costs less. Can't comment on the place as a cafe as didn't eat in. View all feedback. What User likes about Flint Owl Bakery:
super sweet caffe. would have liked to have more milk free savory options except just salat, but it is a small bakery, and they still had a lot of milk free and gluten-free cake, probably more so then any other caffe I have seen. also has a beautiful 2nd floor with view of the road View all feedback.

Great coffee, friendly staff, great alternative to boring brands. Thank you for having us. more here!
A great place to stop coffee or buy brot. they both do when they can.
Had 2 delicious salads from here. a cocky and carrot with a kick. on another day, I had a root of the beet and a mandelsalat. both were delicious

read moreNestled in East Grinstead, this cafe and bakery offers an impressive selection of quality pastries, artisan breads, and excellent coffee. While many visitors rave about the delicious food—including standout sourdough and savory rolls—service has emerged as a point of contention. Patrons report a lack of warmth and attentiveness from the staff, detracting from an otherwise enjoyable experience. Although the atmosphere could benefit from a cozier ambiance, the overall quality of the products and the café's popularity make it a worthwhile stop. For those seeking a delightful culinary break, be prepared for a mixed bag of service and satisfaction.
