Very reasonable price for tapas and very tasty. Wide choice of tapas. Can also have bigger portions (raciones). We had 3 X fish tapas and it filled us up. Tasty house wine. It looks like a very humble establishment, but serves good food. Service efficient too.

This little cafe literally sits right next to the enormous remains of the ancient Roman Temple sometimes known in reference to Diana. I had the American equivalent of a thin cut pork chop, bread and gravy, and hash browns. It was very tasty, the prices were good, and I would recommend this cafe to anyone else visiting Merida, Spain.

If you are looking for a ‘menu del día’ then at €12 this is great value, though no pretensions to luxury. A friendly service from the waitress. For starters I had berenjenas (sliced aubergine fried in a light batter, served with molasses and melted goats cheese—delicious. For main I had merluza a la romana (grilled hake) then flan and cream for pudding. And a large glass of red wine. If it had been a warmer evening I would have dined on the outside terrace overlooking the Roman Temple of Diana.

The sort of Spanish taperie restaurant that everyone looks for. Very near the Temple of Diana is an inexpensive restaurant.

This small restaurant is located next to the temple of Diana. We sat outside with a view on the temple at noontime. Magnificent. We chose 2x the tapas menu. It was absolutely faboulous. We ate every bit of it at a great price. For only 20 € we both ate and drank as much as we could. Highly recommanded !
