What User doesn't like about Voltacafe:
View all feedback.
We stopped here for breakfast on a Sunday morning on our way from Progreso to Izamal. The place is located on the outskirts of the city which was great because we didn't have to drive all the way to city centre to eat something good....We started with desert, yogurt with berries coulis which was amazing. We followed that with croque madame and burrito (yes we were hungry), each was equally tasty. Finished our coffee in the corner on the sofas, it was so quiet and pleasant we spent there hours relaxing eating great food. Service was very attentive and nice too. Great start to any day!
Ordered a flat white and received a large US style frothy cappuccino in a cup the size of a bowl. they have alternative milk (cococosm milk) but they are not barista quality. avoid their favorite coffee being a flat white. they have it. on the menu, but do not know how to do it.
I had no idea what to expect. I had tried to pour over, “high quality” coffee in merida before and was very disappointed. most places seem to “offer” the high quality, single source coffee, it does not deliver on quality or preparation. this place delivered on both....They do the chemex, and siphon methods all on the table side so that they can see. they even let the coffee smell as he braut and ask if it is good for them. the coffee was very tasteful and bright. If they are a coffee aficionado, they will not be disappointed! the service was also top notch!
It was not long ago and had to bring people to ado alta brisa. not very busy tomorrow. we were greeted and sitting at the arrival. shortly afterwards our waiter edie appeared and asked what we drink. edie was happy to practice his English with us! after the order came a young woman and made our coffee fresh table. we ordered benedictinos (eggs benedict) and tasajo (meat) with rührei. both were delicious and the chef presentation was very good. check the map for the location as it is on the street north of hospital especialidades! we will definitely be more often!
