The flavor was okay but it lacked the full richness of a properly slow roasted...pig. over, the meat was dry. Service was excellent and one of the things I love about this restaurant. A two hour dinner is the norm. It's a place to relax with friends and family. Alas, the food last week wasn't as good as I remembered it. It was good but not excellent. The food is typical of what you'd find in a well prepared home dish as opposed to the upscale, extra fancy fare that you'd never find in a real Mayan home. If you're looking for real home cooking Mayan style this is the place.
