Pm closed. Trip advisor has closing at We arrived with the intent of having take away, already prepared with what we wanted to order. We were directed to the CERRADO sign. Shoulder shrug and no can do. (Apparently is the new have been in years past and the food was quite good, too bad that we relied upon faulty information and missed out this time.
The food was excellent, tasty, traditional and typical Yucateco style. The ambience and decor is not bad, but it doesn’t match the great food that is served.
Right on Santa Anna square. Modern decor and a traditional menu. The food was good and the service friendly. And the even had bottles of hand sanitizer on each table (a first for us in Merida).
No need to go out of your way but if you're in the area this is fine. Comfortable and friendly with decent food. Food is nothing to write home about.
When we visited, this family run restaurant was filled mainly by locals, which is always a good sign. The waiters spoke some English, which was helpful given our limited Spanish. The food was varied and beautifully presented, extremely tasty and reasonably priced. Service was excellent....The restaurant was air conditioned and accepted credit cards. The restaurant closes at so for a lunch or early dinner, we highly recommend the restaurant.
