A true Italian restaurant in Merida run by a lovely Italian couple. The husband and wife owners are delightful. The food was delicious, and the wine was excellent. The owners go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. My husband wasn’t feeling well, and the wife offered to make him something special that would be easy on his stomach. They are happy to share their Italian heritage. We would highly recommend. My husband had the carbonara (He chose not to go easy on his stomach! and I had the white lasagna (I can’t remember the specific name. . We would order both again. The portions were generous.
Beautiful owner and amazing house made pasta. Will come back next time I am in Merida
A real Italian restaurant in Merida, led by a beautiful Italian couple. We started with a bruschetta decided wth Brie and prosciutto with a hint of balsamika, pulled on a caprese salad with thick cut tomatoes with an enormous piece of burrata, followed by a white lasagna with mushrooms and beef in a bechamel sauce with one side freshly grated parmesan, which was excellent. We followed that made with a lemon cello in the house and with a dessert of puff bakery with a delicious cream on a plate with fresh berries on one side and a chocolate sauce on the opposite side of the plate. The portions were humble, the prices far below what we expected and the taste... DELICIOUS! This was by far the best meal we had when visiting Merida!
Extraordinario lugar, como dice la consigna italiana en Mérida, la comida es maravillosa y la atención de sus propietarios es aún mejor, parada forzada en Mérida
