Like the pictures from... read more Was running an errand at lunch and came across La Bierhaus, it was on our to-do list so we figured we would stop by for a beer and snack. Like the pictures from other reviews show, its a typical Central Merida building that has every...kind of German beer paraphernalia inside as well as Beer related items painted on the walls. Nothing I would expect in Merida! We wanted a quick beer and a snack so we ordered two brews and some fries with cheese on them. Like others have mentioned the beer list is extensive but they may not have everything in stock. I ended up with a very non-German Mayan IPA and my wife couldn't decided so the waiter brought out a couple of different bottles for her to choose from he also explained each beer great service! The beer wasn't quite Merida priced but not US priced either. Fries were great. Can recommend if you want a change of pace from Mexican Brews!

If you want a break from Yucatec food, there are some great cheesy options, my meat eating friends loved the hotdogs, and the brezels are fantastic.
