I would not call the food at Yoyogi authentic Japanese, but I enjoyed the hearty bowl of ramen with side of tempura prawns and eel-filled rice balls. There was a kick of chili in the broth and a good number of vegies - some fresh and some pickled. The tempura was more like an Aussie batter and a bit oily - not light enough really. However this is a cheap-and-cheerful kind of place and I left feeling nice and warm on a cold winter day.

Food was average. Food was not authentic but acceptable. Prices are reasonable.Food came promptly and was freshly prepared. The soup in the noodles was very bland and did not contain any stock.Kitchen Staff and waiters are Chinese rather than Japanese (maybe that was why food was not authentic). Staff were polite.Payment can be made by credit card without surcharges.May go to this restaurant again to try another dish
