This is a real gem for something quick, filling and tasty. As another review said it is a 'jack of all trades' with all sorts of cuisine ranging from bento boxes to char kway teow.
Been here for business lunch was surprised to see Japanese ,Chinese , malaysian food on the menu. menu was really wide ordered chicken wings which were pretty good . the food seemed above average overall . would not hesitate going in there again
The food here is actually very good. I would rate it 4/5. However, the service let them down. When we arrived, we were told to go to the upper level to find ourselves a table. So, we sat there, thinking they would give us a menu, but they didn't, so, we went to the counter and were then told that they are very busy, so, we need to pick up a menu and then, order at the counter, which is fine. Cost came to about $37 for two people. The lychee green tea also took forever to be made, basically the last thing to be served after our main meals. Charging 30 cents for a takeaway container is also a bit steep.
I chose this restaurant because it was right in front of my hotel and because it was unseasonally cold, I didn't want to go far. the pork and pumpkins were solid and tasty.... exactly as I like them. I followed this up with the tilting laksa and. it hit the place perfect....hot, moderately spicy and with a generous amount of noodles. a nice dinner.
