The starters of calamari and prawns were fresh if a little strongly flavoured, Baba Guling lived up to expectations, Nasi campur both vegetarian and non vegetarian had plenty of variety but again rather heavy on the sauces. A restaurant at this level should really be BYO.

We ordered the Babi Guling and it tasted even better than the one we tried in Bali.The vegetables were nice as well. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We had the tasting platter, which included sample portions of three desserts for $15. (1 full sized dessert is about $10.)The portion was just nice for the 3 of us. We enjoyed the black rice pudding although the crepe and kue lapis were quite nice as well.

Unfortunately, as a Balinese people, I find their dishes not really “strong”. This is my personal preference, but glad to try. One more thing, I came without reservations and still got a chance to dine in. Although I heard some needs reservations, maybe I was lucky but one thing for sure I love the service and kindness: typically Bali vibes! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The cocktails were so cheap and yummy, the babi pork was what I’ve dreamed of since visiting Bali, the tamarind fish and everything else so flavourful. Generally a delight!
