It’s our third time here, and the food had been amazing each time. We always made sure we have this restaurant in our itinerary every single time we’re in Melbourne city. This time we ordered the Mafaldine and Brussels Sprouts, both were top notch and delicious! The ambience of the restaurant, together with the amazing service staff, completes the perfect dining experience here. Make sure to book a table but we were lucky to have gotten a spot through walk-in during lunch. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–40

Absolutely brilliant dinner and the ‘small things’ really do make all the difference! Booking way in advance we could only secure a bar seat, waitlisted for a table note, they didn’t actually let us know ahead of time we’d managed to secure the table and we considered going elsewhere but thankful we didn’t. The small things as we ordered some oysters as part of the starter, they only brought the complimentary focaccia after our oysters which makes total sense from a dinner journey point of view, however don’t think I’ve been to a restaurant yet that has done this. Gorgeous oysters with simple vineagarette dressing, and an absolutely fabulous focaccia with a yummy cream cheese (complimentary) were followed by one of the nicest steak tartare’s I’ve had in a very long time absolutely delicious! We chose to share 2 mains Went for the pasta special which was a scallop agnolotti which was absolutely sublime, which was followed by the duck pappardelle we ordered at the same time, but again that bit of thought the team dished them as a serve for each and brought them out in sequence from light to heavy. The food was all delicious, team were professional, friendly and unpretentious, and the service and those small touches just next level. All accompanied by a beautiful red. We had the chef's menu, 3 entres, every mouthful was bliss, best gnocchi I've ever eaten, and truffle gnocchi creamy heaven. To top it off, the Tipomisu, a chocolate fondant meets tiramisu sensation for the tastebuds. Service was excellent, thank you Kate :
