Sta... read more Went here for a Friday office lunch was pleasantly surprised with the food! It was delish. I got a steak and my colleagues got Parmas and cauliflower bites. Staff was friendly, beer was good and the food was terrific . <br/ <br/ The only downside was the wait. We had to wait for almost 45 mins to an hour to get our food which is a bit too long for a work lunch but after we ate our food, it was definitely worth the wait!

I had been to a few work lunches at The Standard and the meals were always good quality and value.  One thing that has has always impressed me is that even for... read more I had been to a few work lunches at The Standard and the meals were always good quality and value.  One thing that has has always impressed me is that even for large tables the meals all came out together.<br/ <br/ With my sister down for Brisbane for the weekend we thought we'd try them out on a busy Saturday night and we were not disappointed.  Despite the venue being busy and chaotic and two of the four people having specific dietary requirements the orders were right, served together and the food was delicious.
