Was Anonym at The Grey Smith a mag?
The Grey Smith has wonderful service, coffee and food. What more could you ask for?! Smashed Avo with two poached eggs on Boxing Day only $11. Really close to the MCG and a quick tram ride from the city. We went two mornings in a row. A great surprise! View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about The Grey Smith:
More overpriced than the last couple of tenancies; the pulled chicken roll was $12.50, therefore $4.50 for a 330ml bottle of Coke. The Roll was alright; nothing to write home about and service was pretty average; waited around 10mins for the roll. Must have been chasing the chicken out the back. View all feedback.

Stayed at the Pullman for a few days, didn't want to eat there as I'm a light eater. Went for a short walk and came across the Grey Smith. So glad I did, Coffee is fantastic and breakfast was just enough. Seemed very popular with the locals and the staff were lovely.

We typically have a full lunch at our regular spot, but decided to try out the Grey Smith and were pleasantly surprised. The fish and chips were perfectly cooked with generous portions, particularly the large fish. We enjoyed two good standard wines and finished off with an excellent cup of coffee. If we return to the area, we would definitely come back for breakfast as the extensive menu offers good prices and great food.

I stumbled upon a hidden gem in East Melbourne that serves delicious eggs Benedict. I will definitely be a regular at this cafe, as they serve real tea in a pot and make great coffee.
