We had heard about Sweet Salt through the coeliac community b... read more After a big morning of swimming we decided to treat our daughter (coeliac) to some fish and chips. We had heard about Sweet Salt through the coeliac community but had never been here before. We probably brought more than we needed! We all loved the food and my daughter especially loved the gluten free potato cakes and dim sims. The rest of us had the burgers which were fantastic (I had the crispy barramundi burger).Service was great, clean and tidy and the chef did a great job talking his staff through what had to be cooked in desperate fryers etc. well done guys!

Of course that could be because we accidentally ordered four meals instead of three. Oops! The crispy chicken burger was huge. Two nice thick pieces of juicy chicken with a really nice marinade. The crumbed calamari wasn’t as nice as the deep fried gluten free ones that’s just a personal taste thing. The gluten free potato cakes were delicious. The gluten free banana fritter was really nice but it really needed to be served with a small scoop of ice cream. I didn’t notice any ‘table water’ which would have been really nice. Overall the food was hot and good, having so many Gluten Free options was amazing and the prices were pretty good too. Will be back!
