Friendly service equivalent to dining at night in a busy little Italian restaurant. I had the porridge which was sensational, others had fruit toast and eggs with accompaniments.The little touches like the Italian Xmas cake for sale or bottles of jam on the counter for purchase all made this place feel very special.Great spot and great service.

In the past 6 months I've dined here at least a dozen times as a couple and as a large group, and without complaint. On all occasions but one there was a crowd at the door waiting to be seated however the staff were seating patrons within moments of the seats availability, often regrouping tables in order to seat as many as possible in surprisingly comfortable settings. Orders were all taken within a reasonable time and food came out together, fresh, hot, and a hell of a lot! Portions are a good size and the coffee is a smooth authentic taste. If you are dining in a group of 3 or larger you should make a reservation to avoid disappointment, and I recommend the back corner for comfort. Personal favourite is the Pea & Ham soup, but the pasta is also worth killing for.

I recommend the Garibaldi with your coffee.
