What Leonie b dislikes about Sori:
The food was nice, fresh and was quickly made and delivered. Whether it was because it was a delivery order not pick up by the customer the size of the serve was very disappointing, I had the salmon bowl and really for $20.00 when you can get these poke bowls everywhere quite reasonably priced disappointing. I mean even the amount of rice would have been at most half a cup full. It unfortunately seems to be a thing w... View all feedback.

It always saddens me to write a poor review for a place after receiving a couple of positive recommendations from colleagues who live in the area. We were in the area and had only 50 minutes to eat before we would need to get to an engagement in the area. When being seated we stressed that we needed to be quick, and received no indication to suggest there'd be a problem. Somewhere between 15 and 20 minutes later - having been ignored four times, and having seen the waitress serve another table who arrived after us - we still hadn't placed our order. (Lesson learned... we should have taken the hint and not given four chances)We were keen to eat something still and food appeared to be coming out of the kitchen quickly enough. So we enquired what we could get quickly. We then started being verbally attacked as the waitress turned down anything we tried to order as not being available if we needed it quickly. It was apparent it wasn't going to work and decided to try our luck somewhere else along the street or on the way to our next engagement. We then continued to be verbally attacked on the way out. I now have no desire to return, and will be telling my colleagues of this poor service experience as well. For completeness of this review and our dining experience - I vividly recall one of the 'suggestions' that was yelled at us as we were leaving was to go to McDonalds. We should thank the waitress for this suggestion - our McDonalds meal was to the usual standard, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and even checked if we wanted to wait one minute for fresh fries to be ready. Not recommended (although McDonalds down the road is good).

Fresh and clean home style cooking. Good value for money. Highly recommended............. Definitely will come back.

Both times we’ve been here it’s been fabulous. Fresh, generous and tasty. The staff are lovely and they and can accommodate gluten free and vegan easily with no contamination issues.

An extremely inviting place from the moment you walk in, menu read well and decided to order the Bibimbap with beef which is a Korean dish and the first time I've eaten this so can't compare it (there is also a tofu option. It landed on the table in a sizzling hot pot and looked devine and in the Bowl were mushrooms, seaweed, carrot, onion, bean shoots, spring onion, marinated beef and a fried egg on a bed of brown rice. I chose the soy sauce dressing over the chilli sauce. It was a beautiful well balanced dish and stayed warm until the last mouthful due to the hot plate it was served in. The rice developed a nice slight char as it continued to cook and the dish was served with a miso soup and a small side dish of veggies comprising of beans, omelette and potato and carrot which were delicate and extremely tasty. The jasmine tea was nice but the green tea was too strong as it had an extra pod in the tea pot. How could I have missed this place after all these years, an absolute gem.
