Was Leanne K at Shoya a mag?
We were walking by and decided to try Shoya for lunch. Large selection on the menu, but also a large selection of lunch time menus. We decided to go for one of the lunch time set meals and we were not disappointed. The Sushi and Sashimi were excellent, and everything else was very tasty. We had sushi, sashimi, eggplant, tempura, custard, teriyaki chicken, rice and miso soup. The menu also included ice cream to end bu... View all feedback.

What Leleetran dislikes about Shoya:
Food was cold and not enough. Seafoods wasn't fresh, we can tasted the dried and smell of the unfreeze Crab and Bugs tail. Their pairing Sake not even enough for all the dishes are required to have sake. After the experience of disappointed meal last night. It kill my love for Shoya. View all feedback.

Tucked away in an alleyway in Chinatown, this restaurant had a surprisingly spacious interior. It had a nice interior, with underlit platforms upon which there were dining tables. I sat at the bar and had a view of one of the chefs hard at work with fishtanks full of live produce behind him.The menu was very exhaustive, with degustation menus, sushi, sashimi, hot options and much more. I had a range of dishes found the food to be quite nice. From the blurb at the front of the menu it is clear that they pride themselves on the quality of their food.

Sushi was great but tempura was cold maybe because it was mistakenly served to the table next to us first and brought to our table. No apology
